Lyrics to Life is a Los Angeles-based pop-up art exhibit inspired by song lyrics. In partnership with Dropbox, Genius is collaborating with creative artists to transform iconic lyrics into physical art that music fans can see, touch, and experience.




TICKETS

There is a limit of two tickets per guest to Lyrics to Life. Guests who select more than 2 tickets risk being turned away at the door!

What is Lyrics to Life?
Lyrics to Life is a pop-up art exhibition inspired by song lyrics. Through collaborating with visual artists who have deep personal relationships to music, Genius and Dropbox have set out to unleash the creative dialogue between visual art and song lyrics. The visual artists in Lyrics to Life come from all over the US and work across a variety of mediums. The inaugural exhibition will be open from Friday March 2nd until Monday March 5th in Downtown LA.


How can I attend?

Lyrics to Life is free, but tickets are required. Only people who have registered for a ticket will be allowed entry and only during their registered time slot. If a time slot is sold out, please register for a different day or time.

Ticket holders will be asked to present their tickets either printed or on their phone at the gate.


Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

The event is all ages. However guests under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.


When should I show up?

You will have access to the space during the 2 hour period listed on your ticket. You can enter or exit at any time during that slot, but not before or after. For maximum time at the exhibit we recommend showing up ten minutes before your registered slot start time.


What should I leave at home?

There is no coat check at Lyrics to Life! Please do not bring any outside food or beverages, weapons of any kind, pets unless they’re service animals, oversized bags, drones, skateboards, or illegal drugs or substances.


What if I get hungry?

There will be a rotating selection of food trucks at the venue with food and drink for purchase!


Can I bring a plus one?

All guests must have tickets, but you can register for up to two tickets. The name on the ticket must match the ID of one of the guests present.


What is the best way to get to Lyrics to Life?

By Car: From the I-10, take Exit 16A for Santa Fe Ave, or take US-101 exit 1A to E 7th St. Parking for Lyrics to Life guests is located next to the venue at 2143 Violet Street.


By Public Transportation: Take the Line 60 Downtown Bus to the Santa Fe / Violet Street stop (Stop ID: 5541).


By Car Service: Drop off at Lyrics to Life: 2138 Violet Street, Los Angeles, CA 90021


Can I leave and come back?

Unfortunately there is no re-entry once you leave the exhibit.
